Vim Sustainability has been awarded the role of ESD consultant’s for the new Fairfield Community Centre and Sports Hall Project for Fairfield Council in NSW. Working with the appointed Architects AJC, Vim Sustainability is providing a range of passive and low tech solutions so as to minimise traditional air conditioning and utilise a range of innovative natural ventilation design solutions.
Daylight maximization is also being considered as is a range of landscaping options in order to maximise carbon capture while manipulating the micro climate to reduce heating and cooling loads. The shape of the building will also be improved to assist with the capture of breezes and daylight wherever possible.
